Questions hosts ask

How do guests open the guide?
Each guide has its own link and a printable QR poster. Paste the link into your booking confirmation or check-in message and put the poster by the door. Guests don’t install an app or create an account.
Is it really free?
Yes. During early access every feature is free, with a small “Made with Guestleaf” line at the bottom of each guide. No card, no trial clock.
What happens after early access?
We plan an optional one-time upgrade per property that removes the branding. Your guide stays online either way, and we’ll give plenty of notice before anything changes.
Do I need an account?
No. Creating a guide gives you a private edit link, and this browser remembers it. Add a recovery email and we can send you a one-time sign-in link if you ever lose it. If the link leaks, reset it from the editor and the old one stops working.
Can I change the door code or Wi-Fi password later?
Yes. Changes go live immediately, so the link you already sent and the poster you already printed keep working.
Is it only for Airbnb?
It works for any short-term rental: Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, direct bookings, guesthouses and B&Bs.
