Check-in & check-out
Arriving
Self check-in with the smart lock on the front door. Your code is the last 4 digits of your phone number, followed by the ✓ button.
The driveway is steep, so go slow and park on the gravel pad next to the shed.
Before you leave
Before you go:
• Start the dishwasher
• Put used towels in the laundry basket
• Bag the trash and drop it in the bear-proof bin by the road
• Lock the door by pressing the lock logo

Parking
Two cars fit on the gravel pad. Please do not park on the grass because the septic field is there.
House rules
- No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property
- Maximum 4 guests, no parties
- Dogs welcome (max 2), please keep them off the beds
- Quiet hours 10 PM to 7 AM (sound carries in the hollow!)
- Hot tub: shower first and replace the cover after every use
Around the house
Hot tub
The hot tub is kept at 102°F. Controls are under the cover on the right side.
Please replace the cover and clip both straps after each use. It keeps the heat in and critters out.
Fireplace
Firewood is stacked on the porch. Open the flue (lever up) BEFORE lighting. Fire starters are in the basket by the hearth.
Never leave a fire unattended, and close the glass doors before bed.
Kitchen
Coffee: the grinder and beans are in the cabinet above the kettle. The pour-over and filters are next to them.
The gas stove lights with the click-start. Hold the knob in for 3 seconds.
Trash & recycling
We are in bear country! Always use the bear-proof bin by the road. Recycling (cans, glass, cardboard) goes in the blue bin under the sink.
